About Us

We are a family run business keen on family activity (but nothing extreme!) - just bike rides, walks and fun days out together. The seed of the business started to grow after we bought our youngest daughter (then 2 ½ ) a balance bike, having seen young children speeding around the parks and streets in Hamburg. They are truly terrific bikes.

Eve started by walking beside the bike in the house, quickly changing to sitting on the seat and walking it round. Soon she was pushing with her feet and once we had graduated to outside she was freewheeling around the garden. She is 7 now and rides a 'normal' bike, all without going through the stabiliser stage. She still likes to ride her balance bike, particularly inside!

Having the balance bike totally transformed family walks and bike rides. With Eve on her balance bike we could all go at decent speeds as she could more than keep up with us on her 'bike'. She has also been able to go longer distances because she has effectively been sitting down, simply propelling herself along. Far less stressful all round!

So, our company ethos was formed at this stage - the idea of simple, basic family pleasures where children are free to be children for as long as possible. We felt sure that others would feel the same. We are growing the business organically  - that is to say, the business will grow and expand naturally over time. That suits us. We are gradually introducing new products as we find them and as we feel they fit in with the business.
