The character of Tintin is 80 years old - created by Brussels born Georges Remi or better known as Herge.
Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy (Milou) first appeared in January 1929 and continued to go on many, many adventures. More than 230 million copies of their adventures have been sold worldwide.
